My fitness journey started in 2013 when I was struggling to get pregnant. I had always struggled with my weight and had just found out I had PCOS. Around that time I was on Facebook and a friend posted a picture of the ab definition she was getting from TurboFire so I thought I’d give it a try. I somehow came across an amazing team of people that helped keep me motivated and I went on to do Insanity and Asylum and had amazing results… and then I found out I was pregnant. WITH TWINS!
After recovering from a blood clot I was finally cleared for exercise and did a round of T25. I didn’t cut calories because I was exclusively breastfeeding so I lost very little weight. I did however gain back some much needed muscle. I felt some confidence to start Insanity and completed month one when the boys started teething and we all basically stopped sleeping. Haha. I decided to focus on my nutrition so with Shakeology and clean eating I slowly started to shed some weight. By the time the kids were one I was able to wean and really clean up my eating habits and focus on getting back in shape. As of today I have lost 60 pounds from my heaviest! I am seeing some ab definition and I now fit back into almost all my pre-pregnancy jeans. I started Insanity Max:30 and still have much to learn about nutrition and will continue to improve myself daily.
